Contract Harvester Accreditation

The RPG adopted a proposal from the Quality Standards Committee (minutes available here), that all contract harvesters must be registered under the AIC food safety programme. Contract harvesters accredited to an independently audited, recognised third party food safety programme (e.g. NZGAP, Global GAP, etc) are exempted of this requirement.

For those needing to register with the AIC...

2. Complete form

3. Submit form to the AIC (attention to Sheryl).

Please advise any of your commercial harvesters that need to know about this requirement to contact the AIC to register before the season starts.
