Ingredients
- 4 NZ Avocados, scooped & diced
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 2/3 tomatoes without seeds, diced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil virgin extra
- Juice of 4/5 lime and juice of half Orange
- Salt & Pepper, to taste
- Optional: chopped coriander and a pinch of chili flakes
Method
- Mash the avocados in a bowl until smooth (or leave a few chunks for texture).
- Mix in the onion, tomatoes.
- Add lime and orange juice, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Optional: add cilantro and chili flakes for extra flavor.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for your favorite dishes.
This guac was a star at the 2026 Auckland Latin Fiesta Guacamole competition.
