Guacamole by La Sazón

Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- ½ medium white onion, finely diced
- Fresh coriander (cilantro), chopped to taste
- 30 ml apple cider vinegar
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Method
This guac won first place at the 2026 Auckland Latin Fiesta Guacamole competition.
Method
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the seed and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
- Mash gently with a fork, keeping a slightly chunky texture.
- Add the diced tomato, onion and chopped coriander.
- Add the apple cider vinegar, salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Mix gently until combined and adjust seasoning to taste.
